After Valentines Day, Stephen and I threw our first little cocktail party. It was a lot of fun! We had a huge drink menu and Stephen was our bartender (thanks Stephen!). We had all sorts of fruit and mixes available, I’ll share some of our favourite recipes soon!
Side note: I took an unexpected vacation from the world recently. I didn’t mean to, but on Monday I started reading North & South by Elizabeth Gaskell and couldn’t stop. I finished it the next day, but then read another book…and I just kept going! I’m back now, in 2013 and am no longer in the 1800′s. if you haven’t read North & South, I highly recommend it! My little vacation was awesome, it’s nice to get away from from technology… but I missed blogging and talking with you guys in the comments!

What a great set up! Your place looks great and so do all of your drinks. I used to do that. Dive into a book or two or three over the weekend and not put them down. Reading can be so much fun.
