Farewell January

January 31, 2017

Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to the New Year. This month has been peaceful. I’ve finished several books and projects that have been hanging over my shoulder like a sad cloud. Finally, they’re finished—best feeling in the world!
(Above) This herringbone knitted blanket is finally finished, I can’t wait to share more about it. Also pictured is our turntable table. Stephen spent a lot of time building this table and I love it! It’s exactly what we envisioned for this space. Now I need to figure out the right stain… any suggestions?  And this is where I’m sitting right now. Cozy with a pretty view. Oh! The Fiddle Leaf Fig above is new! Home Depot had these guys on sale a few weeks ago and I brought home two. So far, they are super happy and one has already produced a new leaf. They both desperately need to be repotted, but I can’t do that until spring. So they’ll have to wait. I’m thinking about this planter, what do you think?
