So much happiness crammed into last weekend. It was a reunion of sorts. Stephen and I made breakfast for both my sister-in-laws and my little niece (I made the nesting doll, pictured above, for her). It was a treat seeing both of them at the same time! —Followed by a crazy day of a Fiesta downtown and cocktails that night at a local bar (I wrote a little about that here) with par excellence of friends. My kind of weekend. The next day proved to be full to the brim with thrifting. I found so many treasures, a few pictured above on our bar cart. I am swooning over milk glass and pyrex right now… and probably will be forever.
Sorry Stephen. Honestly, I’m not sorry… I love it.
About the nesting doll: I made the pattern up as I went. I need to change a few things and test it out again, but I may have a pattern available in the Red Autumn shop soon.
