Good Things

red shoesphoto 4photo 1Chai and LatinFive happy things: 1| Our local bakery/coffee shop had the most amazing welcome sign. The Almond Horn of Gondor? Brilliant. Speaking of The Lord of the Rings… poor Gandalf has been hanging on the edge of Khazad-dûm for a few weeks now. My days have been busy, with no time for long walks and getting lost in a good book. It’s the good kind of busy, so I can’t really complain. 2|—Busy as in: sewing a new skirt, embroidering with yarn (which is a lot of fun. I’ll share my project in a few days!), and knitting/crocheting blankets!

3| Thanks to Pinterest, I made Yellow Curry last week. It was tasty, however there were a few things missing. It wasn’t as yummy as the curry at our local Thai restaurant. I will make delicious Thai food; I’m determined. In fact I bought all the ingredients I need yesterday and I’m going to make it again next week. Wish me luck!

4| Tumblr is a huge inspiration to me. I’ve made wonderful friends through Tumblr and I’ve filled my blank notebooks up with inspiring quotes. I have a little “Quotes” page now and well, it makes me happy!

5| My friend Crystal came home safe from recording with her band in Nashville. I am excited for them all. I had chai with her last night and got to hear about her adventures.

Good things such as these makes my heart so happy. xo, Amber

CUTE bag! Can’t wait to see all your projects! Thai and Indian food is very tricky to make yourself, I’ve tried before and failed miserably! LOL Good luck!

Thanks! I’ll share my experience soon. I made it last year and it was a total flop!
