βIt was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold; when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.β
β Charles Dickens
I’ve been craving warmer spring days filled with picnics and baseball games; sitting on a hill in green grass. I love living in the city, but there really is nothing like running barefoot in your backyard. I am guilty of picking random wildflowers on our walks and I’ve been inspired to make some new spring prints for Red Autumn. I’m really excited about it!
It’s almost time to dust off my bike as well. So many happy things are ahead.

Oh Amber, Molly has the sweetest little face! She makes me smile. Did you pick those flowers outside? I can’t imagine, as we have snow flurries here in Vermont!
Thanks Lisa!! No, I didn’t -I bought those from Trader Joe’s! I think Vermont would be lovely! Sometimes the south doesn’t listen to the seasons and when it should be winter…it’s summer :(
Thanks for stopping by!!
P.S. These are the flowers I picked outside! http://mrsamberapple.com/photos-from-the-weekend
What pretty flowers! And I love you’re new record player. It’s actually one of the models I looked but decided to pass for a while. I’m also crocheting a blanket like the one Molly is on.
thanks! It’s lovely — I’ve waited to get it for a long time, it was worth the wait and money!
