Sausage Cheese Bites

Homemade Sausage Cheese Bites | Mrs Amber Apple blog

My grandmother made sausage cheese bites every Sunday morning when I was a little girl. It was kind of magical, she always made breakfast before anyone was awake. The house would smell like coffee, cheesy sausage, and the Sunday paper.

I was feeling a bit nostalgic a few days ago and decided to experiment with ingredients I can have. I’m so happy to share this recipe with you! You will need:

It sounds like our grandma’s were similar in their breakfast making :). My grandmother would make these too, and my “happy place” in my head is her kitchen in the morning with the smell of coffee and bacon and the sunshine streaming through the kitchen windows. I love these sausage balls so much that I had her make them for me on my wedding day lol. I haven’t had any in ages, I think I may just have to make some. Thanks for sharing this!
