Cotton Stems DIY

Cotton stems are whimsical and lovely.

But let’s be honest they are so expensive. It’s never been high on my priority list to buy fake flowers or plants, even pretty cotton stems. After studying pictures of real cotton stems I decided to try to diy it and I am surprised with the results

You may need to take a little nature walk. Here’s what you’ll need:

1. Tree branches and pine cones from your back yard, or local park :)
2. Cotton balls
3. A hot glue gun

Let’s get started!

1. Fluff cotton balls.
2. Break apart the pine cones.
3. Glue four pieces to the bottom of a fluffed cotton ball.
4. Glue to your branch.

That’s it. Now you’ll never have to buy expensive cotton stems!
