We celebrated Easter and my father-in-laws birthday on Sunday—what a day! Stephen and I broke our entertaining rule number #2 and made a new dish the day of the event. Stephen prepared (with help from Gray and Rachel) nine racks of lamb. NINE. Earlier that day he discovered that each rack of lamb wasn’t French trimmed, (the butcher said they were!) so extra time was spent to prepare each rack of lamb. The lamb was so delicious though, and our guests brought amazing sides, desserts, and appetizers!
I loved figuring out the table setting and I’m so thankful that Crystal helped me set everything up—thank you, Crystal! We had wine and sparkling bubbles lined all the way down the table. It was a night brimming with the best kind of magic—love, and friendship.
