It’s no secret that Christmas is my favorite holiday. We usually hop into the car and drive to Charlotte and pick out a flocked Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. This has been our tradition since 2010. This year was busier than usual, so we snatched our tree on Stephen’s birthday (December 1st) and instead of renting “Bruce” (my nickname for a Tahoe) we picked out a cute little flocked tree and stuffed it into our mini cooper. It may be my favorite tree yet (hello, no mess). The next day our friend, McKenna, came over and took our photo’s. It was a magical afternoon.
I’m not kidding.
I’m pretty sure she guessed we were both a little nervous, because she knew exactly how to losen us up to relax and be normal. These photo’s are so special; I love the idea of documenting our story with professional photo’s a.k.a 1828 Collective.
