Almost eight years ago Stephen moved into a downtown loft apartment. A couple months later we tied the knot and I happily moved in with him. The entire unit was lined with beautiful large windows; it’s still one of my favorite apartments we’ve lived in. Experiencing all that natural light changed my interior style preference forever. One of the design elements I love about mid-century homes are the windows. I mean c’mon, floor to ceiling glass windows? Yes, please.
Below are some of my favorite mid-century style homes—a few of these designs will definitely make a debut in our future home. I’m obsessed.

I’m with you on the whole window thing. Like the Cullen house in Twilight? I LOVE that. I’d love to have an almost entirely glass house in the middle of the woods with no one around (so I don’t have to worry about peepers lol). Windows + Light = Heaven :)
I love mid century design. Do you like Frank Lloyd Wright? You and Stephen should come up and we’ll take you to Falling Waters in Pennsylvania. We did a special tour there with access to all the rooms.
