In 2015 I managed to miraculously make French Macarons. After two failed attempts, it was a big deal. Honestly, this is the type of cookie that has to be made often for practice.
Summertime Crisp
For me, it’s officially summertime when I make Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp. I love using the recipe from Back In The Day Bakery— it is the best. Seriously. It’s also super easy and fairly quick to make. Oh and it can be made allergy friendly. No big deal. Just kidding, this is amazing.
Easter Potluck
Since 2011 Stephen and I usually make a lamb dish for Easter. This year we invited some of our dearest friends and I’m certain celebrating this way will be a tradition.

Farewell January
Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to the New Year. This month has been peaceful. I’ve finished several books and projects that have been hanging over my shoulder like a sad cloud. Finally, they’re finished—best feeling in the world!
