I would say I’m finished with DIY removable wallpaper…but who knows? I’ll probably switch it up and do something new next week.
The thing about this DIY is it’s instantly satisfying. Projects like this one takes little time to complete and there’s no pressure to commit to a specific style. If you want, you can remove the ink at any time with a simple cleaning solution.
I used the same stencil for our Sea of Stars wall in our bedroom. The ink is different though (you can find it here), it’s metallic and bright—the stencil is, after all, a star!

I wish you could see the reflection of the gold metallic ink! It’s magical. Factory style lofts are my favorite. I LOVE our apartments’ high ceilings and large windows.
Please note: when I like a book, I apparently horde several, i.e., The Silmarillion + The Lord of the Rings.
Our entry mirror and telephone are from my father-in-law (he gets me). The painting is from Mega Thrift, a local gem. And if you don’t have one of these Alexa wall clocks, you’re missing out!
Collectively, our star entry + bookshelf wall took me about an hour to DIY. Isn’t that great?
Are you daring enough to stamp or stencil your walls? Or have you already? Tell me in the comments!
