The Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the south’s many gems. A few days ago Stephen and I joined his parents on a Blue Ridge Parkway adventure. We started in the afternoon…stopped for lunch at Chick-fil-a (yum!) and off we went in search of beautiful autumn leaves and misty blue mountains. It was a lovely way to spend the day and to enjoy the colours of autumn. On our way home, my father-in-law surprised us and turned the car around to take us to The Mystery Hill in Blowing Rock. The first pictures you saw were taken in the crazy mystery room…apparently the laws of gravity do not apply there (said in a spooky concerned voice!) no worries, after my inner childishness enjoyed the thought of such a place, Â I realised how it all worked!
I won’t give it away, can you figure it out?!

That looks like fun! There’s a “mystery spot” like that in Santa Cruz. It’s not a huge mystery but still pretty trippy from what I’ve seen. It sure is gorgeous down there. I really enjoy the changing of leaves. It’s something that is beautiful and lets you know fall is here.

Mystery Hill was pretty trippy too! I love when the leaves change too! Most of the leaves are gone since the storm came!
